Resetting a DisplayKEY and Cradle

Like many electronic devices the DisplayKEY cradle may occasionally need to be reset. Some indications that your cradle needs to be reset are:

• The cradle lights are flashing orange/amber continuously.



• The cradle light does not go off within 10 seconds of removing the DisplayKEY from the cradle.



• The DisplayKEY battery isn't charging when on the cradle.



• The DisplayKEY is no longer updating on the cradle.

Resetting The Cradle

1. Disconnect the round black power connector from the back of the cradle.



2. Wait 10 seconds, then plug the connector back in.



3. Allow the lights to cycle between amber and green, then go off, and stay off, before placing the key into the cradle.

Resetting the DisplayKEY

1. Press and hold and at the same time for two seconds then release.



2. You may follow this procedure any time you need to clear your DisplayKEY screen or exit a function on your DisplayKEY



3. If the reset doesn't work, wiggle each button on the key to make sure none are stuck .
